Questo annuncio \u00e8 visibile anche direttamente nella dashboard del software. Desideriamo spiegare pi\u00f9 nel dettaglio perch\u00e9 stiamo affrontando questa sfida:<\/p>\n <ol>\n <li><strong>Chiusura di FaunaDB<\/strong><br>FaunaDB, il database su cui TopRent.app poggiava fino a ieri, ha comunicato con breve preavviso lo spegnimento dei propri server entro il 30 maggio 2025. Questa decisione \u00e8 dovuta alla difficolt\u00e0 di raccogliere capitali sufficienti per sostenere un servizio globale di database operazionale.<\/li>\n <li><strong>Cos\u2019\u00e8 una migrazione di database?<\/strong><br>Migrare un database significa spostare dati, logiche e configurazioni da un sistema a un altro completamente diverso. \u00c8 un processo complesso che richiede:\n <ul>\n <li>Analisi di compatibilit\u00e0 tra vecchia e nuova struttura<\/li>\n <li>Scrittura di script per trasferire milioni di record senza perdita d\u2019informazione<\/li>\n <li>Test e validazione continua in ambienti di staging<\/li>\n <li>Verifica che tutte le integrazioni (API, widget, report) funzionino esattamente come prima<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n Un esempio? \u00c8 come montare il motore di una BMW su una Mercedes: si pu\u00f2 fare, ma bisogna adattare supporti, elettronica, centraline e verificare ogni dettaglio per evitare errori.<\/li>\n <li><strong>Perch\u00e9 investiamo cos\u00ec tanto<\/strong><br>Molte piattaforme in cloud non dispongono di risorse umane o budget sufficienti per affrontare migrazioni cos\u00ec impegnative e si vedono costrette a interrompere il servizio. This notice is also visible in your dashboard. Here\u2019s more context about the reason behind this action:<\/p>\n <ol>\n <li><strong>FaunaDB shutdown<\/strong><br>FaunaDB, the system hosting our database until yesterday, announced that its servers will shut down by May 30, 2025, due to an inability to raise enough capital to maintain a global operational database service.<\/li>\n <li><strong>What is a database migration?<\/strong><br>Migrating a database means transferring data, logic and settings from one system to a completely different one. This is a complex process involving:\n <ul>\n <li>Compatibility analysis between old and new architecture<\/li>\n <li>Scripting to safely transfer millions of records<\/li>\n <li>Continuous testing and validation in staging environments<\/li>\n <li>Ensuring all integrations (API, widgets, reports) work as expected<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n To explain simply: it's like installing a BMW engine in a Mercedes.
